An Extractor is the Wingman agent that pulls key entities out of each interaction — names, dates, amounts, and other details that matter to your business. You set it up in the Spinoco desktop app, choose which interactions it runs on, and define what to extract.

Use this guide to create an Extractor agent and configure it.

To create an Extractor agent:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select the Wingman icon.
  3. Click Create
  1. Enter a Name, select the Extractor type, and click Create
  1. Complete the Details fields.
    1. Name
    2. Description - An optional description of what the agent does.
    3. Enabled - Toggle to enable or disable the agent as desired.
    4. Instructions - Optional LLM prompt instructions that apply to the agent as a whole.
  1. Select Filters to scope the agent to specific interactions. Click Add Condition. Choose a condition and set its value. Repeat to add more conditions as needed.
  1. Select Instructions. Extraction definitions are the pieces of information the Extractor pulls from each interaction. Each definition describes one thing to extract. Click Add Definition. Click the definition row to expand it, then complete its fields:
    1. Definition Name — A name for the piece of information being extracted.
    2. Description — What this definition captures.
    3. Hashtag — The hashtag this definition applies to. Search and select an existing hashtag.
    4. Extraction Prompt — LLM prompt instructions telling the agent how to find and extract this information.

Repeat to add more definitions. Use the trash icon on a row to remove a definition.

  1. Click Save. The Extractor agent pulls the information you defined from every interaction that matches its filters.
