Use call-through

Call-through lets you answer and place Spinoco calls on your mobile device using your regular GSM network instead of an internet connection. Use this guide to learn how call-through works and how to get it set up on your account.

How incoming calls work

When you receive a call, Spinoco checks whether you have call-through activated. If so, it routes the call directly to your mobile phone. The caller ID displayed on your mobile will show your Spinoco account or the Spinoco line the customer called — not the customer's number. This is by design: if you miss a call and need to call back, you do so through the Spinoco app, keeping your personal mobile number private.

How outgoing calls work

Place your call from the Spinoco app as you normally would. Once you do, a new incoming call arrives on your mobile displaying the caller ID your customer will see. Answer that call on your mobile, and Spinoco connects you to the person you're calling.

Who can use call-through

Call-through is activated on an individual basis, so it can be enabled for the team members who need it while others continue using internet-based calling.

To activate call-through on your account, contact your administrator.

Note: If you are an administrator, see Set up call-through for a team member for setup instructions.
