When a workflow runs on a task, you can see which workflow ran, follow the steps it took, and inspect the data it processed at each step. This helps you monitor workflows that are still running and troubleshoot ones that have finished.

This guide explains how to view a task’s Workflow on the desktop app.

  1. Go to Communication.
  2. In the Tasks list, find the applicable task and select it to open.
  1. Select Workflow. Each workflow run on the task appears.
  2. Click the workflow entry. A detailed window opens showing the workflow as it ran on the task. Select Refresh to update the view while a workflow is still running.
  1. The detail window shows the workflow's path as a graph, from top to bottom. Each step is stamped with the exact time it ran, and the connections between steps are labeled with the path the workflow took.
    1. Use Search nodes to jump to a step in a larger workflow.
    2. Use the zoom control and Reset to adjust your view.
  1. Select any step in the workflow to open its details. The panel shows the step's name and timestamp, along with its system parameters — the data the workflow processed at that point, such as the message text, the source contact, and the channel.
