Use the Play feature with the desktop app

The Play feature automatically assigns you the next highest-priority task as soon as you finish your current one, so you spend less time finding work and more time completing it. Use this guide to learn how to start Play, work through tasks, and stop Play when you are done.

Start Play

1. Click Play in the top-right corner of the Tasks panel.
2. Select the Play profile you want to use from the dropdown and click Play.

Note: If multiple Play profiles are available and you are unsure which to select, ask your administrator.

3. Spinoco immediately assigns you the next highest-priority task.

Work through tasks

Complete each task as normal. When you close a task, Play automatically assigns you the next one.

If no tasks are currently available, Play notifies you and waits. When a task becomes available, it is automatically assigned to you.

If you cannot resolve your current task right away — for example, you are waiting for a customer to respond — you can request the next available task without reassigning the current one:

1. Click Next Task at the top of the task window.
2. Spinoco assigns you the next available task. Your current task remains assigned to you.

Stop Play

When you are ready to stop receiving automatic task assignments, click Stop at the top of the Tasks panel. Spinoco stops assigning tasks to you until you start Play again.
