Spinoco has two in-app notification icons in the top-right corner of the screen. Each one tracks a different type of activity. Use this guide to understand what each icon shows and how to use it.

Task activity icon

The task activity icon tracks your task activity. The number on the icon shows how many unread updates you have. 

To view the notification:

1. Click the icon to open the activity panel and see a list of recent task events, such as:
   • A task was created
   • A task was updated
   • A task was assigned to you
   • A task you are following was changed
2. Click any entry in the panel to open that task directly. 

Bell icon

The bell icon tracks incoming communications. The number on the icon shows how many unread notifications you have. 

To view the notification:

1. Click the icon to see recent alerts, such as:
   • Incoming phone calls
   • New chat messages from your team members
2. Click any entry in the panel to open the associated conversation or call task.

Note: In addition to these in-app icons, Spinoco can also send notifications to your computer or mobile device. Device notification settings are managed separately through your operating system settings.

Change your alert ringtone

You can set a different ringtone for incoming calls, messages, and notifications.

1. Click the Spinoco icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

2. Select Settings.

3. Click Audio Preferences.

4. Scroll down to the Choose ringtone section.

5. Select the tab for the ringtone type you want to change: Call, Message, or Notification.

6. Click the play icon next to a ringtone to preview it, then select the radio button next to the one you want to use.

7. Click Save Changes.
