In the Spinoco application, navigate to “Settings” and then to the gateways tab (second tab from the top on the left, identified by the mobile phone icon). 

Next, click the blue + button at the top right corner of the screen. In the opened dialog, select “WhatsApp".

Hit the Authorize button, and follow the steps in the newly opened Facebook window, to authorize the integration.

First, log in with your Facebook account. If asked for 2 factor verification, fill in the requested information.

Confirm to “trust this device” when prompted. 

Hit Get Started to connect your WhatsApp account to Spinoco. 

In the next section, select your Business portfolio (the page to which the business should be linked), enter your website or social media page, and select your country. When happy with your selections, check the checkbox to agree with the Terms of Service of Facebook, and hit Next. 

If you already have an existing Business WhatsApp Account that you wish to link, choose the relevant WhatsApp accounts and profiles you wish to link in the dropdowns. Otherwise, keep the selections as “Create a WhatsApp Business Account” and “Create a new WhatsApp Business Profile” and hit “Next”. 

Fill in the requested information. If you prefer, you can enter extra information (time zone, business description, website) by clicking “Show more options”. Hit Next when ready.

Next, enter the phone number you wish to use for WhatsApp. You need to be able to receive a text message or a phone call at this phone number. select the method of verification you prefer, and hit Next.

You will receive a phone call or a text message (depending on the method you chose). Please enter the verification code from the text/phone call and hit Next.

Review the permissions and hit continue. 

Facebook will review your business, however you can already get started with initial conversations. Hit Finish. Alternatively you can Add Payment Method straight away to ensure that your onboarding to WhatsApp is complete. If you wish to add a payment method later, you can do this in Facebook Business Manager.

To finish creating the gateway in Spinoco, give it a Label and hit save. 

You're now ready to use WhatsApp within Spinoco!
