Nodes are the individual steps that make up a workflow — the trigger that starts it and the actions that follow, such as assigning a messenger or creating a task. Each node has its own settings that control what it does.

This guide explains how to select a node, set its type, and complete its fields.

  1. Go to Workspaces
  2. Select the Workflow icon.
  1. Click the plus icon to start a new workflow or select your desired workflow from the list to edit.
  2. Select Design to build the workflow's steps. Each step appears as a node, connected in sequence by labeled edges.
  1. Select a node to open its configuration. The selected node is highlighted on the canvas, and its settings appear.
  2. The Workflow Type dropdown sets how the workflow starts. The available types are:
    1. Webhook
    2. Chat
    3. HashTag
    4. Campaign
    5. Email
    6. Generic

Note: Each type shows its own set of fields when you select it. Set the Workflow Type to match how you want the workflow to start, then complete the fields that appear.

  1. The editor flags incomplete configuration as you work. A warning icon with an error count appears in the canvas toolbar. Resolve these warnings before saving.
  2. Select Save Draft to save your changes as a new draft version.
