Hashtags are labels you can apply to tasks in Spinoco. They help your team categorize, track, and report on work in a way that fits your exact needs.

Use this guide to understand what hashtags are and how they are used across your tasks.

What is a hashtag?

A hashtag is a predefined tag that can be applied to a task. Hashtags are fully customizable — your administrator sets them up to reflect the categories, outcomes, or priorities that matter to your team.

How hashtags are used

Hashtags can be applied to tasks in several ways depending on what your team needs:

  • Closing tasks — Apply a hashtag when resolving a task to record its outcome or indicate the next step. This information is then reflected in your team's statistics and reports.
  • Categorizing open tasks — Apply a hashtag to an open task to indicate its topic, priority, or current status. This gives your team a clear overview of what is in progress.
  • Capturing additional details — Apply a hashtag to a task that requires additional information before closing, enabling detailed and structured tracking of task outcomes.

Managing hashtags

Hashtags are configured by your administrator and can be updated at any time to reflect your team's changing needs. Contact your administrator to add, remove, or adjust the hashtags available to your team.
