Managing your team is straightforward with Spinoco's role and permissions system. Use this guide to learn how to navigate user roles, configure permissions, and assign skills to your team members.

Navigate to Team Settings

  1. In Spinoco, select the Team tab.
  2. On the left side of the Team tab, click the gear icon to open the Settings screen.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To edit an existing team member, click Edit next to their name.
    • To add a new team member, click Add team member at the top of the screen, then enter the required fields: Last name and Email address.

Set a User Role

The role you assign controls the level of access a team member has within Spinoco. There are three roles available:

  • User: The standard role for most team members. Users can see the tasks assigned to them based on their skills, but cannot view colleagues' tasks or access administrative areas.
  • Team Leader: Intended for team members who supervise others. Selecting this role automatically grants additional permissions and upgrades the license to at least Professional.
  • Administrator: The highest level of access, with full control over Spinoco's settings and configuration. Selecting this role automatically grants a broader set of permissions and upgrades the license to at least Enterprise.

To set a role, open the team member's settings and select the appropriate option under User Role.

Configure Permissions

Permissions control which tabs a team member can access in Spinoco. They are partially set automatically based on the assigned role, but you can adjust them individually in the User's Permissions section.

  • Communication: Available to all users by default. Grants access to the Communication tab only.
  • Statistics and Settings: Grants access to the Statistics and Settings tabs, allowing the team member to view performance data and manage certain configurations. Requires at least a Professional license.
  • Workspace: Grants access to Workspace settings for advanced configuration. Requires at least an Enterprise license.

Note: When a team member is granted access to any tab beyond Communication, their license is automatically upgraded to reflect the access required.

Assign Skills

Skills determine which channels and queues a team member can handle — for example, a specific market, language, or communication channel such as phone, email, or chat.

To assign skills, scroll to the bottom of the team member's settings dialog and select one or more skills.

Note: A team member with more than one skill assigned automatically requires at least a Professional license.
