Spinoco makes license management simple by handling it automatically. Use this guide to learn how licenses are assigned and what each license type includes.
How Licenses Work
Spinoco automatically assigns the lowest applicable license based on the combination of settings configured for a team member — their role, permissions, skills, and any add-ons.
Tip: You don't need to manually select a license. As you configure a team member's settings, the license shown at the top of the dialog updates in real time.
To view a team member's current license:
- Select the Team tab.
- Click the gear icon to open Settings.
- Click Edit next to the team member's name.

License Types
- Dashboard: The most limited license. Assigned when a team member has no skills, does not track statistics, and only has access to the Dashboard tab. Suited to team members who only need to monitor activity and do not handle customer interactions.
- Standard: The entry-level license for active team members. Assigned when a team member has a single skill and does not require statistics tracking. Well suited to team members who support a single market or communication channel and don't need performance reporting.
- Professional: The most commonly used license. Required when a team member has more than one skill, has statistics tracking enabled, or has access to the Statistics or Settings tabs. Includes an unlimited number of skills, statistics tracking, and access to the Statistics and Settings tabs.
- Enterprise: An advanced license required when a team member has access to the Workspace permission. Includes everything in Professional, plus call recording and access to Workspace settings.
- Developer: The most advanced license, typically used for team members responsible for Workflow configuration and advanced API operations.

What Triggers a License Upgrade
The table below summarizes the settings that automatically upgrade a team member's license.

Billing Options
For Professional and Enterprise licenses, you can choose between two billing methods:
- Monthly billing: Charges the team member for the full month regardless of usage.
- Daily billing: Only charges the team member for days on which they actually log in to Spinoco. This is useful for part-time team members or those with irregular schedules.
Add-Ons
- Call recording: Available as an add-on for Professional and Standard licenses. When enabled, the cost is reflected in the license overview at the top of the team member's settings dialog.
- Statistics tracking: Available for Professional licenses and above. Enabling this option for a Standard team member automatically upgrades their license to Professional.
